A second place in dressage and marathon and two balls down in the cones competition, led to an overall second place at the last competition of the season.

This was the last event that counted for the Hippoevent Top Horse Award and Safir remains now at a very close second place, with a small part of a penalty point from the winning french horse of Anne Violain Brisou.

We are now awaiting the official result of this year's Top Driver Award. The winner is again Bartlomiej Kwiatek but the final standings for the remaining drivers is interesting.

Henrik & Bilsbaeks Safir won gold at Nordic Baltic Championships 4th-7th August

A first place in dressage, third in the marathon and an eighth place in cones secured the championship, with over six penalties down to silver medallist Oivind Mikkelsen from Norway.

The Danish team including Ane Wieder, Tina Nielsen and Henrik also won team gold.

Bilsbaeks Safir leading Hippoevent Top Horse Award

Safir has been at the top of the list since CAI-B Dorthealyst in May this year where he scored a dressage penalty of 40,58. The score has just been overtaken mid-July by a margin of a penalty to Anne Voilain-Briseou's horse Kawa de Mesanguy at CAI-A Haras du Pin in France. The final winner will be announced after the last competition of the single season in October.
